House of Boo is a year-round Halloween and horror specialty shop in Salem, Ma.  The shop features horror movie-branded products and collectibles, vintage Halloween décor, Salem and horror-related T-shirts, and other merchandise that appeals to the city’s tourist crowds. 

I designed the interior of this shop, including specifying materials and finishes inspired by the shop’s logo and branding, generated a lighting plan to provide a spooky yet shoppable space, created music playlists to go with the shop’s theme and vibe, selected and ordered the retail fixtures, planned the design details of the custom cash wrap, and helped curate the merchandise mix for the shop. I also designed and executed the fabrication and installation of the shop’s visual merchandising areas, including the two large window displays and a hovering banshee animatronic display behind the cash wrap area.
