Morningside Avenue was a “flip” project.  To increase the property’s appeal to a wide range of potential buyers, I designed a new layout for the homeowner’s suite, including an entirely new bathroom.  I also added a new powder room to the first floor to help increase the home’s value and make the residence user-friendly for entertaining guests.  I specified new finishes throughout the house to create a neutral blue-gray pallet and had the original wood floors refinished in a custom black-brown stain to give the space a rich, grounded feel. The result was a quick resell, setting a record cost per square foot for the historic Dallas neighborhood.
